Finally moving up north for more snow, nice! Anyway, I had some of it going on the second monitor between Teams meetings. I was surprised by Koepka. I want sure his knee would hold up. This course is lot less hilly than Augusta. Also surprised by DJ. T97 at +4.

Early going in the PGA. Nice to see Rickie Fowler near the top, even if it is early. Sounds like the 600 yd 16th is not reachable in two.

We haven’t even talked about the PGA Championship at Kiawah Island this week. Not sure who I like. Would be good to see Rory grab another major. DJ could grab it. One thing I know, as I just looked up and saw an interview with him playing on the Golf Channel, is I don’t want to see Patrick Reed anywhere near the leaderboard.

I was at a gas station yesterday and there was a lady at the tire pump with mask and gloves on. I was the only other person around and she was 35'-40' away. The pump wasn't working so she asked me if there was another gas station in the area. I guess she was being extra cautious

After the early warmth, I thought we were going to be way ahead up here but the cold snap slowed us back down and I think we are about normal.

Yeah, I've never heard of them being called mayflies around here. The blackflies were pretty thick on the golf course last night so not quite past prime season up here. Another swarming insect we will get treated to when the warm weather gets here flying ants. Those things come out in massive numbers. I just looked them up and learned that they are normal black ants with wings. New queens and male ants fly to establish new colonies. The queens chew off their own wings after mating.

And have a bottle whiskey near by. Just like they did in westerns when the had to remove a bullet or arrow from someone.

I used to get my domestic hot water from the boiler but installed a hybrid heat pump type when my storage tank died. The first summer with it I turned the boiler off. A few days later, I had water all over the floor. The repair guy told me the seals dried out and shrunk, causing water to leak. Since then I keep it running at a lower temp during summer.

I wonder if the snowmobile trail runs through there. The view looks familiar.

Yeah, we were getting a little swarmed working in the yard today. It’s been worse but definitely an uptick from the beginning of the week.
