Keep thinking I may go play 9 but every time I start to make a serious move to leave, another wave of misery mist seems to crop up. May not get any golf in today.

This will likely be the week I install. I’d likely be fine as it doesn’t sound all that humid but I’m such a fragile flower that I want no discomfort while trying to sleep.

So the holiday weekend wasn’t nearly as bad as you thought then.

I always figure this is the most beneficial type of rain. Soaks in and doesn’t run off.

Up to .29 now. Timing wasn’t great but the rain is needed.

Feel like it’s a heatwave here at 50°. Blue skies too.

Feels like we’ve had this discussion before. There are some down in the Dover/Andover area around Mt.Snow that are pretty high and the Bolton Valley base lodge is at 2100’ so some of this condos are up there.

Since the rule here is no masks for vaccinated people, it makes me wonder if the people still wearing are unvaccinated but we are near 80% with at least one shot up hers so it’s likely an over abundance of caution, I guess.

Pretty much all mask and social distance requirements were dropped for vaccinated people in VT State office buildings last week. Went in 3 days this week. Was the first time I met 3 people we had hired since November in person.

That’s my buddy’s plan for the weekend, at least after he gets done with the work project he has in the morning. Sitting out on his deck tonight, I wish we had been burning some already.

So I figured the storm Wednesday night was pretty meh, and it was, at least for me. 2 miles away across town at my friend’s house, it was a different story. Looks like they got hit with a microburst. Looks like 7 or 8 trees were knocked over including a couple of healthy looking maples snapped in half about 15’ above ground. Here are a couple of pics. p.s. I’m a pretty lame photographer.

I remember when Heddy Topper was at its height of popularity and you could only get limited amounts, there was a lawyer in Burlington who tried to sell a case on Craig’s List. The Department of Liquor Control had a little talk with her. She was and maybe still is a staff attorney for the State board that regulates utilities. She also applied to work in my unit at the Attorney General’s Office. We did not hire her.

That's a killer during any stretch of hot dry weather. A couple of the fairways at the golf course have that problem and we end up with dead spots most summers.

My big decision will be if I wear shorts or pants for my 4:30 tee time.

I'll be honest and say I had him on ignore because his posts were too much at times. On the other hand, I admired his passion and ability to ignore detractors and plow ahead. He was a part of what makes our community what it is. RIP James

You do know that is basically the entire point of this forum, don’t you? If a meteorologist who has gone to school and honed his craft through the years doesn’t think it’s going to snow in your back yard, they obviously don’t know what they’re talking about. If people start following your advice, AMWX is done.
