Another option is to get a casement window AC Though you would probably have to take the window off and block the area above the unit. Your best bet would probably be installing mini-splits

I went to HD in West Leb, NH yesterday and was surprised that there was something like 80%-90% mask wearing. BJ’s still has signs up asking everyone to wear masks.

Feels like we’ve had this discussion before. There are some down in the Dover/Andover area around Mt.Snow that are pretty high and the Bolton Valley base lodge is at 2100’ so some of this condos are up there.

Since the rule here is no masks for vaccinated people, it makes me wonder if the people still wearing are unvaccinated but we are near 80% with at least one shot up hers so it’s likely an over abundance of caution, I guess.

Pretty much all mask and social distance requirements were dropped for vaccinated people in VT State office buildings last week. Went in 3 days this week. Was the first time I met 3 people we had hired since November in person.

Lol. It’s like we forgot what reservations were traditionally for.

That’s my buddy’s plan for the weekend, at least after he gets done with the work project he has in the morning. Sitting out on his deck tonight, I wish we had been burning some already.

So I figured the storm Wednesday night was pretty meh, and it was, at least for me. 2 miles away across town at my friend’s house, it was a different story. Looks like they got hit with a microburst. Looks like 7 or 8 trees were knocked over including a couple of healthy looking maples snapped in half about 15’ above ground. Here are a couple of pics. p.s. I’m a pretty lame photographer.

I remember when Heddy Topper was at its height of popularity and you could only get limited amounts, there was a lawyer in Burlington who tried to sell a case on Craig’s List. The Department of Liquor Control had a little talk with her. She was and maybe still is a staff attorney for the State board that regulates utilities. She also applied to work in my unit at the Attorney General’s Office. We did not hire her.
