Haven’t had to do that with our dog thankfully but we did have to do it with our cat. He wasn’t nearly as gracious about the treatment as your dog was.
It rained pretty hard when it came through here around 4:30. Street drains backed up for a little bit in places down in Barre City. About an inch between overnight and this evening.
Pretty much the same here. There are some things you have to go in person for but all the standard registration renewals etc. are online. I have had to make an appointment and that seems to work pretty smoothly.

We learned our lesson, specifically with floors so I went the paid route. I’m sure our marriage could have survived a second attempt at installing floors ourselves.
Meh. October snows make for beautiful pictures when there is still bright foliage but they don't do much for me. As we get into November, they get more meaningful. By the time December starts, I want the ground to start getting covered.
Saw Gov’t Mule quite a few times in BTV. Some great shows. On Church St. for Mardi Gras, in a small club on Lower Church St. and probably the best set of live music I’ve ever personally been in the audience for at Memorial Auditorium. They’ve gotten a little noodlely and jammy for me but I really loved that original trio. Oh and I love this song.
There had been some noise about expanding the use of the existing power line ROWs in VT but that may have been to replace the Northern Pass that got shut down in NH. Not sure if that was just a pie in the sky dream but I would think it would be a better option if at all feasible.
