  1. Nice area. What made you choose there?
  2. I don’t think I could live full time in a city but I love visiting them. Staying on a high floor of a nice hotel is always a treat. My favorite is Montreal. London and Cologne are great too.
  3. What the hell does this mean? Nothing but yellow snow this winter?
  4. Is that where the tree's owner is a candy ass?
  5. If you don't like changing leaves or cooler weather, move to San Diego
  6. Beautiful sunset to kick off met fall.
  7. Lol. This was a column in the Boston Globe this morning
  8. The leaves have that leathery look
  9. Years ago my father in law was dog sitting our lab/collie mix while we were on vacation. She was out on the deck and he was inside when he heard a loud bang on his picture window. He went out and saw our dog chewing on a partridge that had killed itself flying into the window. Being the frugal old Vermonter he was, he took the bird from the dog, cleaned it and ate it. He said he did share it with her though.
  10. Glad to see Cantlay win today. I’m not sure I like the format for next week, starting the leader out at -10.
  11. My high was 65 today. We had a party to celebrate my wife finishing her degree/birthday/our 20th anniversary and the consensus was that we all were much happier with this weather than the stuff we had earlier in the week. I could’ve done without the minor showers that popped up a couple of times though.
  12. How the hell do you live if you need 24/7/365 of hight temps to do anything. Are your kids made of sugar and will melt if it rains in them?
  13. I was wondering if that was one of the Phish guy's place. I vaguely remember knowing that at least one of those guys lived south of Burlington in that general area.
  14. I saw a few flashes to the south. That area is right in the heart of the Green Mts. between Sugarbush and Killington. Ironically, it was pretty much ground zero for Irene. There has been a lot of coverage of the 10th anniversary Irene this week too.
  15. Wilbur. We adopted him in 2016. The rescue thought he was between 8-10 yo so he is now somewhere between 13 and 15.
  16. Saw that. Not a great 10th anniversary reminder for an area hit badly by Irene
  17. I was thinking the same thing. That’s quite the drum set up Edit: That would be a $1 million place in Stowe or some other fancier towns, especially with 13 acres. The current owner must be slashing the price because he knows the value is greatly diminished because of poor snow retention.
  18. It’s west of Rt. 7 in the CPV near Vergennes. I can’t imagine the snow is great.
  19. High of 87° for me and it looks like MPV hit 90°
  20. 84.2° on my pws. I wonder if I can shatter my season high of 89.7
