  1. My idea about these type of occurrences is that it is simply Mother Nature making sure we will have room for all the snow we are going to get. She doesn't want us to be overwhelmed to the point we can't even cross the street because the snowbanks are too high.
  2. I should add that the air was so crystal clear today that the Presidentials looked like you could reach out and touch them. If I had binoculars I probably could have seen Phin disrobing to each model run as it came in.
  3. It was a beautiful day to be out. The first picture is looking towards PF with the Worcester Range between me and him. The second is looking east towards Phin and Alex.
  4. He was. We moved him back here and have been working with him for years to get him to the point he’s at now.
  5. -7.9°/-12.6°. Coldest night of the season for me, by far.
  6. Mud season everywhere away from the slopes.
  7. When I retire, if I leave VT, it will be from March 15 — May 15. Those 2 months suck.
  8. 2.3° here. It was -2° last night around 8:00 and then the temp came up a little along with a light breeze.
  9. And there it is, the death of snow days
  10. I'm sure you'll be able to get 3.4" from an 8" forecast.
  11. Hmmm, it is fully insured...
  12. Are you kidding? That's the perfect excuse for him to get a brand new Ariens or Honda tracked snowblower!
  13. Are you related to the hotel people or the landscaping company people?
  14. It sounded to me like he was intimating that there are some slant stickers in Stafford and Union. The fact that he didn't include Tolland must mean he holds your measurements in high esteem.
  15. In the storm thread from last week, we were speculating about the snow on Glastenbury Mt. Here are a couple of pictures a guy I know took today from there. I plucked them off Facebook.
  16. Now, do you still have the rain gauge?
  17. Vlad Guerrero. Played 16 years in MLB. His son is pretty good too.
