  1. Yeah, I'm not sure exactly where he lives but it's close enough to me that I've spent a fair amount pf time in his area. There are a lot of hollows that radiate pretty well. He is in the same vicinity as our former NNE stalwart Allenson
  2. @ginx. I guess we know why he questions everybody’s totals now. He assumes they all have the same issues as he does!
  3. It's been a few years since I've played Stowe C.C. I'll have to get back there. I'd like to play the mountain course too but I've got to save $$ to buy the supply of golf balls I'd need
  4. The moral of the story is you need to look out for yourself. It's not like the Pats ever hesitated dropping someone as soon as there was even a hint of a performance decline. The Pats got as much out of Gronk as he got out of them. There is no loyalty in sports.
  5. Lol at holding that type of spite. If the players don't look out for themselves, the owners would screw them over.
  6. Some more thoughts on the Ryder Cup. I think Stricker did a great job. It was pretty brave of him not to pick Reed but that guy is polarizing and I always get the feeling he is more concerned with his record than if the Team wins. He doesn't seem to mesh well with the other guys. Europe is looking at a tougher road ahead. The US team is packed with young guys who could be on the scene for a while. That doesn't mean it's a lock but we look good going ahead. Of course I liken Europe to the Patriots, would they trade any part of their dynasty years for a more stable future outlook? No way.
  7. As a Dolphins fan, it ****ing kills me to agree with this.
  8. I’m worried about the Pats too!
  9. Yeah, currently 52.5° here. Would love a frost to end lawn season.
  10. You could see how much it meant during Rory’s interview, he was crying. I think Stricker was smart with his picks. He could have easily picked Mickelson after he won the PGA. I think it signaled the complete passing of the torch. I liked this team, even Bryson didn’t annoy me as much as usual.
  11. The US is putting a crushing on Europe. Like a playoff series though, it’s not a real series until you can win on their turf. The thing that really struck me though is the age difference. Europe still relying on Sergio/Poulter/Westwood and one of their rookies is 34 year old Shane Lowery. Meanwhile the US has a lot of young guys who look comfortable in this setting.

  13. Wow. Hard to believe she’s 74. Makes me feel old.
  14. Anyone watching the Ryder Cup? I've got it up on the ipad while I'm working. 3-1 lead after the morning matches. I don't like our fans. Pretty obnoxious at times.
  15. Skin up the toll road to earn your turns? There are some “off grid” snowmobile trails down there that I’d like to explore sometime. You can ride up to the EQX summit.
  16. Just finished watching the Ken Burns Muhammad Ali doc. What a life. Sometimes I think Burns’ stuff is all so similar in feel. This one is different and so good.
