  1. I wish I could get a decent pic. Really has started to pop in places.
  2. Cloudy, drizzle and cool. Tried to play a few holes of golf during a brief interlude. Started up again by the 4th hole. Decided to head down to W. Leb was much different not 10 miles south. Was partly cloudy and Upper 60s when I got down here.
  3. Long shot but maybe kidney stones?
  4. That’s disappointing. I was hoping there was still a way for both the Sox and the Yankees to miss the playoffs.
  5. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. According to some, we won’t peak until Halloween.
  6. Yeah, today is crap. Yesterday though was nice to be out in the woods. Overcast but not raining and cool but not cold. I will say though that I like day like this once in a while just so I don’t feel guilty sitting on the couch watching football all day.
  7. You can also avoid the real touristy spots like Stowe. Part of the problem there is that you have a limited number of routes through the area. Other areas have lots more back roads to explore where you can sort of avoid crowds.
  8. It seems like he thinks peak is scheduled the same every year, like Memorial Day or Labor Day.
  9. Yeah, I'm not sure exactly where he lives but it's close enough to me that I've spent a fair amount pf time in his area. There are a lot of hollows that radiate pretty well. He is in the same vicinity as our former NNE stalwart Allenson
  10. @ginx. I guess we know why he questions everybody’s totals now. He assumes they all have the same issues as he does!
  11. It's been a few years since I've played Stowe C.C. I'll have to get back there. I'd like to play the mountain course too but I've got to save $$ to buy the supply of golf balls I'd need
  12. The moral of the story is you need to look out for yourself. It's not like the Pats ever hesitated dropping someone as soon as there was even a hint of a performance decline. The Pats got as much out of Gronk as he got out of them. There is no loyalty in sports.
  13. Lol at holding that type of spite. If the players don't look out for themselves, the owners would screw them over.
  14. Some more thoughts on the Ryder Cup. I think Stricker did a great job. It was pretty brave of him not to pick Reed but that guy is polarizing and I always get the feeling he is more concerned with his record than if the Team wins. He doesn't seem to mesh well with the other guys. Europe is looking at a tougher road ahead. The US team is packed with young guys who could be on the scene for a while. That doesn't mean it's a lock but we look good going ahead. Of course I liken Europe to the Patriots, would they trade any part of their dynasty years for a more stable future outlook? No way.
  15. As a Dolphins fan, it ****ing kills me to agree with this.
  16. I’m worried about the Pats too!
