  1. They got 9 skiers in before they cancelled at Killington. Looked brutal with wind. Probably made the right choice.
  2. I actually wondered about that. It seems like most of the courses are pretty icy and hard packed.
  3. Except when eleventy-billion other kids have similar helmets.
  4. 4” here. Not sure about the pack. A quick glance at the extended forecast shows highs of 40-36-34 at the end of next week.
  5. About 2” here. This is World Cup weekend at Killington isn’t it? This doesn’t seem like speed snow.
  6. Checking in on The Match on TNT. Koepka vs. DeChambeu. Koepka up by 4 holes. Not all that interesting and I don’t really like either guy that much. It’s golf though.
  7. After spitting and sputtering for most of the day, steady light snow has started in the last hour or so. 33°
  8. I thought of you when I heard this. I hope everything works out for you and your family.
  9. Freezing rain and 31.8°. Deck is coated. My wife just came back from a neighbor’s up the road and said the roads are starting to get a little icy.
  10. I can handle that. Like dendrite said in one of these threads, I’m not really ready for the big dog yet.
  11. You’re right. Probably should throw together a radio show.
  12. 16° for the low. The weather on the news last night said yesterday was the coldest day in BTV since last March 11th
  13. Which is still much more than you've had
  14. Oh, they’ll call it fake but they’re all jealous.
  15. Definitely a stripe of heavier accumulation that followed 89. Ground was much whiter up at the Shaws in Berlin that is is here a few miles East. I think the technical tee for the amount I have gotten is a skiff.
  16. 2? With craft IPAs like he drinks it's like 1 and a miserly tip.
  17. It's like a garden hose flopping around. It shoots through the gap in the mountains and wavers back and forth. Three Mile Hill between exits 8 and 7 provides lift so when you get to the top at exit 7 driving conditions are often much worse than at exit 8. From 7 all the way to exit 4 consistently has the worst driving conditions. Of course the elevation gets up to 1800' so that contributes too.
