  1. Maybe Ginx can find Tamarack’s report in the scrolls. Followed up by Jerry saying “Let’s go muthafukkas!”
  2. Whenever I am in a situation where I need to keep the ball's trajectory low, I do this and often hit pretty good shots.
  3. I’m currently a 15.6 or something like that. At my (lol) “peak” I was a 13. As I’ve mentioned before though, that is almost completely based on 9 hole rounds at my home course. It’s easy to shoot a 41-42 and not be playing particularly well. That adds up to a lot of low to mid 80’s. My handicap doesn’t travel well though.
  4. Exactly. This is why I pretty much only watch the Red Zone. The way they do replay, handcuffed defenses and constantly have stoppages in play make it almost unwatchable. Having said that, baseball is just as bad. Slow games, constant pitching changes and the only strategy seems to be hitting a home run. Baseball isn’t a National game anymore, it only matters in markets with teams, just like the NHL. At least the NFL has a National audience. I know I’ll get shit for it but I’ve grown to like English soccer more than baseball and it’s close to the NFL for me. Very few stoppages in play and once you learn the game it becomes exciting to watch.
  5. I’ve had instructors tell me the same thing about having a routine and I think it works. But this is where the commitment thing comes in. I never commit to the routine if something goes wrong. It’s like the routine is a girlfriend asking for a ring, I run the other way.
  6. I struggle every year with some version of this. Standing too far away and hitting off the toe and then overcorrecting. Same with ball placement in my stance. I’ll hit on the right combo for periods of time and then I’ll almost imperceptibly change something and spiral backwards. Rinse and repeat.
  7. That’s our routine as well. We face almost directly east and have a big picture window that acts like a magnifying glass. We close all the windows and the insulated shades all day and run an AC in the bedroom. The house stays 75°-77° on the hottest days. Feels like west living in a drug house lol. Windows get flung open after the sun goes down to let cooler air in, when it’s actually cooler.
  8. I need cash for my Tuesday night golf game. The boys don’t take cards if you lose.
  9. Obviously not an NNE’r. This is good swimming weather up here.
  10. I’ve always had good luck flying American, of course I’m probably jinxing myself saying that. I haven’t flown since summer 2019 when we went to England and Germany. Flew from BOS to LHR on AA. The return was on British Airways. I was surprised how nice that was. Decent meals and snacks. We were lucky enough to have an empty seat in our row so that greatly improved the comfort level.
  11. I played 9 at 7:30 this morning was pretty soaked afterward. May go swimming later
  12. Currently 84.7°/64°. My high for the year is 89.7°. I wonder if I can top that today
  13. Walked 9 holes this morning. Sweated my ass off. Shot a 43 (8 over) with 2 doubles. It was ok. I haven't played first thing in the morning yet this year so it was really nice putting on freshly mowed greens. No spike marks, no unrepaired pitch marks and no areas where people seem to drag their spikes over the green Smoooooth rolling.
  14. Just received a quick .01" cooled it down to 79°. Probably didn't help the humidity at all
  15. Whoops, upon further reading, looks like you weren't at a golf course.
  16. I'm with you. Just too heavy and almost bitter tasting to me. I like pilsners and lagers.
  17. Now you can be a dick much more efficiently.
  18. I'll pick up PF and we can be there by 5:00
