    9.6° for the low this morning. Second coldest so far, had 9.5° one morning last week.

    Watched some men’s GS from Beaver Creek last night. Lots of brown in sight away from the slopes. The announcers said highs were expect to reach the 50’s.

    We are down in Hanover watching UVM vs. Dartmouth hockey. I was a little surprised to see the ground white right down to the CT River.

    Don’t know if it’s the beginning of our pack but it’s a good base building snow. Used the snow scoop on the driveway instead of the snowblower. The gravel driveway isn’t locked down yet.

    Nice college football snow game on tv. Penn St. at Michigan St.

    They got 9 skiers in before they cancelled at Killington. Looked brutal with wind. Probably made the right choice.

    I actually wondered about that. It seems like most of the courses are pretty icy and hard packed.
