  1. Keep winter out yo fuckin’ mouth!
  2. Even 70's with clouds will feel nice.
  3. My course opened yesterday. I was able to get 6.5 holes in. After a double, double start I made back to back pars before three-putting for a couple of bogeys. It was windy and cold but I was happy to be out.
  4. Even snowing decently down here in Montpelier. Not sticking to anything though.
  5. Every season is stressful weatherwise in New England. I go from being stressed about to to being stressed about whether it’s going to rainout my golf tournament, BBQ or other outdoor activity. In fact it may be more stressful because if I’m not outside doing something during summer, it feels like I am wasting days.
  6. Yeah, Stowe shuts down regardless of snow. That makes a lot of the locals happy. They earn some turns by skinning up the slopes.
  7. I believe the shut down this coming weekend every year.
  8. Wow, what a finish to the Masters. Amazing.
  9. At this point we are all Torch Tiger. Hoping and praying for some semblance of a 372 GFS op run to come true.
  10. Nothing but rain up here on the other side too. One of the few times I am actually happy to be missing out. Those that got it, can keep it this time of year.
  11. @ORH_wxmansince you came out of hibernation, have you played here?
  12. This story sounds like a repeat of my old 9-hole course that was member owned. We sold to someone who, to their credit, has kept it a golf course but has not kept it in great shape. I hope they can make it to 2027 for the 100th anniversary of the club but I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm glad to see what looks like a brighter future. 9-hole courses fill an important niche and are too often written off as not being "real" golf. I hope this one makes it.
  13. Whoo hoo! We had a record low yesterday! RECORD REPORTNATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BURLINGTON VT140 AM EDT FRI APR 11 2025...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE SET AT MONTPELIER VT...A RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE OF 16 DEGREES WAS SET AT MONTPELIER VTYESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 17 DEGREES SET IN 1997. WEATHER RECORDS FOR MONTPELIER-EDWARD F. KNAPP STATE AIRPORT(KMPV) IN VT DATE BACK TO 1949.
  14. 18.6° for the low and the ground was white again.
  15. I was on the southeastern edge of that gradient. I'm just under 90" for the season. In the normal range but nothing spectacular.
  16. I think you mean April is going to be annoyingly cold.
  17. I’m in Binghamton, NY. Trees have that reddish bud look. I guess I don’t think they were that far ahead of us down here.
  18. Late day the dam busted and we hopped up into the 50’s with some clearish skies.
  19. Several boomers and a few flashes of lightning woke me up around 5:30. I guess severe season is over now.
  20. Can you really afford to take less snow?
  21. Tolland boy won’t you settle down. Northfield ain’t your kind of town. There ain’t no dews and there ain’t no Lesco making it green.
