Not sure if anyone is following the World Cup but it has been really good so far. Another big upset just happened. Croatia just took down the favorites, Brazil in penalty kicks. Great tournament so far.

It’s bigger than Smuggs and always seemed to me to be easier to get to from Burlington. I golf with a couple of guys who work over there in winter but those guys are summer friends, I don’t talk to them this time of year lol.

You mean the last 5 minutes that take 45 to play? The NFL has actual action for about 18 minutes of actual football in a game that takes 3 hours. I county watch any of it weren’t for the Red Zone.

It might be nostalgia but that winter might be the best one in my memory. I lived in Brookfield, VT and was in 8th grade. It seemed like we would get 3”-6” twice a week and a 10”+ storm would punctuate it every other week. I swear, at one point we had close to 4’ on the ground. Snow slides closed VT State Rt. 14 that ran by my house. It was definitely a winter to remember.

My PWS isn't in a great location for wind but it has recorded the highest gust in the 2 years I've had it, 17.4 mph. That qualifies as windy for me.

At least up there they already have a ski area to start out with. It’s not huge but at least they don’t have to start from absolute scratch.
