    Yeah, I think that was some of what drove the rule change. There were also some issues in the Phenn Basin on Camel’s Hump with logging and trails.

    There was also one that was over 2500’. The environmental court ordered it torn dow because it violated the State’s rule on building at elevation. Not sure if that actuall got torn down or if it’s still in litigation.

    When you are 2 hours from Albany, Hartford and Springfield it just gets pounded. The club does have 4 or 5 groomers and goes out every day when conditions warrant. Because their trail system is so limited by what the National Forest Service allows, they can’t really build trails to relieve some of the traffic.

    It sucks that they’re going to drain the Green River Reservoir. That’s a beautiful spot.

    I've been wanting to get down and ride it, I'm only 45-50 minutes from the trailhead in Lebanon.

    Yeah, I’m not paying much attention. Any net gain to my 1” “pack” will be seen as a win by me.

    1" here and 21°. Nice wintry feel out there. Anything that comes Friday that leaves us with a net gain in snow on the ground is a win in my book. I don't need huge amounts to be happy.

    Yeah, that sucks. The French can win it all but nobody should sleep on Croatia. They are just so tough. All 4 remaining teams have great story lines.
