It was pretty boring so I went to the course and played 9. A friend and I were texting beforehand about Rory and I said JT deserves some crap too because he folds in majors. I guess I spoke a little too soon. Lol
Nice. In the past, I used a 6000 and a 5000 btu units in bedrooms opposite of each other. I turn the ceiling fans on and leave the doors open. It keeps the house 78°-80° if I keep the windows and shades closed.
Stayed north of here. I even got 9 holes in after 6:00 pm. Didn’t wear my ear buds though because with the look of the clouds I want to be able to bolt at the first rumble of thunder. Never came though.
I can’t believe how quiet it is. I think it’s 42 decibels. Can’t seem to get it to connect to my wifi but it’s got a remote so I don’t absolutely need to use the app
The Midea came a day early. Took me about an hour to get installed. It wasn’t too bad. Haven’t turned it on yet because I need a frigging extension cord. Of course the temp is down to 58° so I don’t really need it at the moment.
My pws registered .59 overnight. I checked MPV and they didn’t have anything. I checked the pws around the corner from me and it had .61. Must have been the localized nature of the storms.
Some of it is the costs coming down and the technology getting better. It’s like everything else. When I was growing up, a trip to Burlington was sort of a big deal, now that’s a reasonable daily commute.
When my my parents moved back down to southern Georgia in 1999 after 25 years up here, he said he had no idea how he grew up down there before air conditioning. He had been weakened by living up here.
