Got down to 28° here. The previous lowest of the season had been 34° or 35° and I hadn't noticed any frost so straight to hard freeze for us.

Gets dark early in the deeper valleys. This was around 6:00 pm. The foliage is starting to get going.

I think you’ll be ok. To me, it seems a little delayed. But then again, I always seem to think it’s slow or dull and then one day I look out and everything seems to have exploded in color.

I know I don't want to see it in any meaningful way. Not for any superstitious reasons just from a logistics standpoint. I still have stuff to do outside and accumulating snow is just a hinderance for that. I'm fine with flakes in the air though.

My dad was was a HVAC tech for 30 years. He said everything is driven by the price of oil. If oil goes up even the price of wood goes up.

Just had my oil filled. I have 2 - 275 gallon tanks. They put in 272 gallons at $4.12 per. Not as awful as I was expecting.

Man, I live in a relative desert with only 2.40”

We did. It was touch and go with rain on 89 and down the hill towards Northfield but it stopped by the time we teed of just after 4:00. I had .53” today, bringing me up to 2.40” since Sunday.

If that happens, it may impact my decision to meet up with my brother in Panama City Beach at the end of October.

Ended up with 1.87". There has definitely been a pattern shift as rain has been a much more frequent occurrence lately.

Only for western Washington and eastern Chittenden counties. Just saw one pop for part of Rutland county too.
