  1. Probably at 1/4sm +SN now. Heated sidewalks work.
  2. That’s real close even up here. That’s my fear that like yesterday’s event, the models over-estimated the cold air push ahead of the system.
  3. Got about 4” here but hard to tell at Spruce with the heated walkways. You’ll certainly see Winter this weekend up here.
  4. Ha yup. As long as it doesn’t amp up to rain here, we’ll see what happens. I’m a little worried it ends like this last event, where the cold air push ahead of the system was way over modeled at this lead time.
  5. You coming up this weekend? Dumping fatties out there right now. Pure winter with blowing and drifting snow.
  6. Hate for it to look so perfect but still 4 days out.
  7. JSpin’s getting 3”/hr and I-89 by his house is a mess from posts online.
  8. People are posting about that band on I-89 right next to JSpin’s house. The comments of “that place is a huge snow belt, it’s always snowing on 89 there” are hilarious.
  9. Holy shit man, 3”/hr with 4-5” new snow today?!
  10. Woke up to 1.5” on the cars and I see MVL had some 1/2sm moderate snow at times overnight as snow showers moved through. Event total around 2”.
  11. Meanwhile in the backyard... just a coating, but it is the first accumulating snow here at 750ft in the valley. Temperatures down into the 20s now.
  12. Wouldn’t toss that 18z run. 6-12” for like 3/4ths of New England land mass.
  13. First dark parking lot car topper pic... It just feels good to be scraping ice/snow from the car again. 28F -SN
  14. Photo of Stowe Village at dusk by Paul Moody. Just a dusting of a few tenths but looking a little more like winter.
  15. We have an inch or so at 1500ft base of Stowe. Up north saw a bunch more. Here’s a shot from Montgomery near Jay...
  16. Ha yeah, and looks the exact opposite of any map from like 2013-2017.
  17. A friend sent this from Montgomery, VT down the road from Jay Peak. We’ve only gotten about an inch at the base of Stowe.
  18. Yes it increased my snowfall a few tenths. Incremental improvements, one tenth at a time .
  19. Snowing lightly but steadily. Struggling to accum at these rates and with warm ground, even at 1500ft. Jay Peak already plowing...
  20. That’s impressive for the mean at this lead time, especially considering timing differences.
  21. 1 Tomorrow, 1 Friday, 1 Monday, 8 Tuesday. Not a bad MEX run.
