NYC finally hit 20 degrees, with JFK sitting at 22. I'm assuming both will stay below freezing but am less sure about JFK once the coastal makes its closest pass.

It least it wasn't a massive difference like we often see with borderline snowstorms. It's a lot easier to be happy for someone's 16 inches of snow when you got a foot

We'll see once the final numbers come in, but this looks like a solid call. The one immediately above it though, lol.

Still a super cool storm. In a way, what we saw today is equally as impressive as an 18" storm. Just hours and hours of pouring sleet after 6-10" of snow region-wide.

Just pouring sleet here and radar looks good for at least another hour of this.

Radar looks primed for Central Park for the next few hours (assuming it stays all sleet), should easily get them to 10"+

Maybe we can get a large shift in time like we did with today's storm.

Plus every surface is ice cold. Hopefully it'll turn back to IP with the heavier bands.

That my friend is not good. 22 and heavy sleet here now. Haven't measured in a while, but definitely north of 11" by now. When is NYC's next update?

Was in that lull for a bit but back to moderate sleet and radar to the west looks solid (though I wish it was situated in a straight west to east line).

They had 8.8" at 3:30, it's definitely possible (but who knows with the way they measure).

I wonder if there's enough sleet/snow left to make it to double digits. Would be really cool to get an official city site with that measurement.

Still a mix of snow and sleet and actually accumulating. Up to 10.8" and counting.

Some mangled flakes mixing back in here. Very cool storm from a dynamics standpoint.

Atlantic City is now at 33 with plain rain.

You should be able to piece together enough for double digits.

It's a bit misleading as the snow moved in early so the entire progression of the storm started earlier and any changeover should therefore be calculated accordingly. That's why it missed the totals the way it did, other models had the duration of snow (8-10 hours) depicted far better.

Cleared the board when it flipped to sleet so I don't measure with compaction, and I've added about 0.4" of sleet/snow since to put us over 10". Great storm

Went back to a 50/50 mix of sleet and snow.

Has a more NE heading now than the NNE one earlier.

Heavy sleet now as we get into the heavier echos (no snow as far as I can see) with a temperature of 16 degrees. This should continue for at least a few more hours.
