  1. 31.2F Freezing rain and sleet trees glazed
  2. 27.6F ZR total skating rink out there. Wonder when I'll go about freezing. Do we do it again tomorrow night but in reverse as it gets colder on friday?
  3. 25.1F Very light snow grains. About 2" earlier. Snow depth 11" I don't like to see all that rain moving our way. Could be quite the sneeker event this evening with freezing rain. White pines already have snow on them so that could cause a quicker ice acretion?
  4. Eat all the grapevines you want but don't mess up my snow stake!
  5. Moderate snow 18.8F Eyeballing 2". We were in a dry slot for a couple of hours. Finally some good snow but the end seems pretty near.
  6. Welcome to the forum. I'm 30 miles NNE of you. I'm in the same hole. Very very light snow. Vis 4 miles 18.8F 1" new so far
  7. Feather dusting with the squalls. Glad others had some really great ones.
  8. I'm noticing a twist perhaps starting just SW of Southern VT. Would that be a meso low? Seems to be heading towards Concord up through Brian and me? 30.8F Very light snow with lots of virga
  9. Storm is over. 35.2F which is the high for the day. 2" of snow. Then a couple of hours of sleet before heavy rain. Peak wind E 36mph 10" of snow left on the ground. It will freeze into a cement block tonight before light snow falls on top. Amazing how warm it is just south of me and there is no snow on the ground.
  10. Moderate rain 33.7F High was 34.1F but the temperature is inching down. So much slush out there. 10" at the snowstake
  11. 32.6F Sleet and rain. Wind roaring in the trees. High gust 34
  12. -IP 32.2F every once in awhile a flip to some mangled flakes. 2" finally above freezing Wind gusting to 32mph
  13. 31.9F light snow/sleet and freezing rain. Est 1.5" new
  14. Been busy today and before I read this thread I was shaking my head. This is why you have to dig deeper than just a first glance
  15. Well it's noon and finally got power back. We had 7" of snow before the flip at 130am. Temperatures stayed around 35 to 36F until 9am this morning with the high at 41F right now. Winds cranked up here with a peak wind of 44mph around 5am. I started with 11" of powder on the ground and now have 11" of extremely heavy pack. Impossible to snowblow this stuff. That brings me to 35" so far on the season
  16. 26.8F Very heavy snow. 4" new. Winds are fairly light. Highest gust has been 27mph
  17. 24.7F Heavy snow but little wind, even at my elevation. Peak gust only 21mph. Guessing 2" new
  18. 24.9F Calm winds Sure going to be interesting up at my elevation with the SSE to SW view to the horizen. Going to snow so hard before the flip with paste and wind. People around town just saying we had 10" so no big deal with a flip to rain after a few inches. Hope they are prepared. Generator gassed up and roof has been shoveled awaiting this next round. Anyone starting an obs thread?
  19. I really don't know how much snow to expect here in SE Grafton County. Gray just has us under a Hazard Weather Outlook. No high wind advisory nor winter weather advisory. We kind of stick out with all kinds of watches around us. I'm thinking of 5-8" ? Roof loads will become an issue if we don't warm up much tomorrow and then get another storm late week
  20. Interesting satelite picture this morning. You can see the difference in snowfall from Cape Ann to NE Rhode Island with the wind trajectory yesterday. More snow vs less snow in a straight line
