Still a good storm up here. 6-10 maybe in the end. I like it and maybe we don’t see the continuing trend s and e with the whole system. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if we could good trends for the next day or two. The good solutions at six and seven days often come back at least partly.

Then why does the EPS mean have a bend north and west (this trended at 6Z). GEFS often go S and E.

the lean looks a bit west and north.

just over 4" here. very dense due to the bursts of sleet. It is compacted and will build the new and coming snowpack. I don't know how Brian retains pack so well. I mean in parts of the woods I still have 8-12 but half the woods is melted out or just a couple inches. We have 30 acres of hayfields around the house and they are all melted except that back parts which get less sun. But I said 3 weeks ago that my 20" pack wouldn't be my deepest of the season and I think I'll be right. It'll almst certainly be true for Brian.

There will be a storm. I think it will be warning level up here not just SNE. The big solutions could be back, they’re not off the table, in another cycle. Not uncommon for models to lose the big solution but then come back to it in the end. The next one after intrigues me.

3-4”maybe? The depiction of a northwest the southeast line from Central New Hampshire to the southern tip of Maine separating heavier snow to the east and lighter to the west has been accurate. Radar returns have started to look patchy back here while they look stratiform over at the Southern Maine.
