  1. Not that I think it will happen, but that depiction really stops the sleep, line and southern Merrimack County up here. That would give us a nice snow.
  2. Thank you for your analysis…I hope so, but GYX seems leaning less than 6 on snow and a definite change to sleet. Heavier rates earlier would make the difference to get 6+ I’d think.
  3. Not gonna be all snow up here. Heaviest snow mixing with and changing to sleet to end by noon, west to east. Then a lull and precipitation moves back in towards eve.
  4. GYX really bought into the midlevel warming. After starting the day with 5-10 I ended it with maybe 3-5. The snow map really bumped north. It will come down to the intensity of the first wave before we probably go to light sleet and frz drizzle and then who knows what for wave 2. My guess for me is 7"
  5. not if you believe GYX. But...maybe. If you get a lot of sleet we definitely get some significant sleet.
  6. I should probably learn to look at models, but it seemed to me that people in the thread were talking about slightly further south, and slightly colder solutions, which I assumed would result in more snow up by me north of Concord. It sounds like the midlevel warmth is going further north though. The watch is still in place, but seems that they are leaning advisory. Gene might be safe but sounds like this is not a big event south of the Lakes region and foothills. I’m kinda surprised.
  7. Wunderground shows no nearby radar returns, and tells me "snow possible at 4:15". Meanwhile light snow, small flakes, but slowly slowly better snow growth and dropping viz. Temp warm 33 so no stickage yet, but this must be the low level ne flow moisture.
  8. probably, but the "go big" seems to be lessening. This late I want to go big or go spring. Although I might be getting caught up in the SNE vibe. I should be following Brian and Jeff's lead when it comes to my emotional weather life lol.
  9. GYX has us going over to sleet but getting 5-10" snow. Maybe the general cooler trend keeps us all snow up here. Would be okay if this were the last hurrah.
  10. and sometimes the floor just falls out from under ya.
  11. its a lesson that not every -NAO is a good -NAO. Hopefully we've learned that lesson and wont' need to experience it again for awhile. Although up here, the -NAO worries me usually as I send my congrats south. I think we are seeing late Jan all over again but maybe it can nudge another 100 miles south?
  12. This is 7 AM on the 28th so presumably, a good bit more to come, and also includes the prior snow
  13. I thought there were 2 areas of snow? Looks like just one through SNE.
  14. They’ll never know all that we know Jerry, those of us who participate on this board for all these years. “ chat GPT write me a paper about Jerry and Leon“
  15. “Siri give me that one about that river in Egypt”
  16. So this is a chat GPT forecast buy a robot?
  17. I woke up to you a GY this discussion that had me just far north enough to get 2-4” of her snow tomorrow afternoon. Now this is a below deck system? That seems odd. And a couple of days ago wasn’t this little clipper that was going to slide across near the Canadian border?
