  1. it keeps missing. GYX was forecast a moderate rainfall and then it just fizzled. We had chances for showers and storms all week and missed every one. When this happens it tends to keep repeating, so I think we need a pattern change for any rain. Now they're pimping Saturday but I kinda don't believe that yet...
  2. that is really impressive! Do the rootballs go into the holes and then a lot of the plant gets buried so it can spread out it's roots?
  3. I hope that late season snowcover doesn't push the backdoors down here. But at least we can think about planting next week. I always like to sneak in an early cucumber, tomato and bit of corn. Might try that early next week and cover them if needed. Black plastic already down in some of the beds to heat up the soil. It was good to read the optimism for possibly AN next week in the GYX discussion.
  4. its the trend I was looking for! lol
  5. I didn't notice a hint to a snowier outcome in the overnight discussion
  6. I hear you. And it will be a wonderful distraction around this time. But my garden is created I have my cloth covers and hoops up on all sorts of things. It would be a gardening disaster
  7. really and truly...wtf was that chart? I think he is creating a distraction after gaslighting Kevin
  8. unreal how persisent this is. any sense of when we get a pattern shift?
  9. Thank you. I'm going to give it all a close look today. We havent gotten that cold yet but thurs morn worries me. My hope is that once this pattern breaks we get some really nice weather. Maybe the cold helps against the early pests on the trees? I haven't sprayed anythign yet
  10. That’s a disaster I fear for peach and apple trees. Anyone know how to assess the risk of that? I’d consider covering my trees as they are still young
  11. no sign from NWS or WPC of snow up here in the next week, beyond small chance snow showers.
