    I think part of the problem is some people don't even learn a little bit. I mean extreme emotional responses to mundane events. "Waaaahhhh I'm not the one getting more than 4"..." You're just realizing these two things now?

    Yup. Good thing I spent those hours cleaning where we have to walk because the rest of the property is mostly inaccessible.

    Until these things were available we didn't see the kind of extreme event emotion we see now. As more layers and solutions are offered it gets worse.

    It rained from the start at about 1am, never stopped even while it was pouring sleet and teeny ice crystals (snow?). The rain finally stopped about 10 minutes ago at the same time it popped to 33°. That was the worst 3 hours of frozen-mystery-material removal in a few years. Thank goodness it was warming up through it not getting colder... ~2" of crystally, ball bearing like stuff that was very wet at the bottom. Yuck.

    It's a disaster here. My east facing windows have water running down them because of the rain but it's sleeting really hard too and it's 25°.

    It keeps flipping between precip types. The stuff on the ground is as dense as anything I've ever seen. 23° and ugly.

    It was nice snow for a while, good growth and the wind was NE but then, all of a sudden a few minutes ago it flipped to heavy sleet (again). 24/23/ENE3

    Transitioning to mostly snow with some sleet mixed in. There's a layer of ice coating everything. How unfortunate that it started wet, it's dangerous out there.

    I saw 59 on the dashboard and on a bank 2 minutes later so it's valid Damn it felt good working outside today. In fact, I think I'm gonna pop another beer and go back outside. R**n tomorrow, warm ski day Wednesday then watch the show at the end of the week. Gotta stop at a brewery and distillery along the way Wed. and stock up.
