The radar is lying again. Well, sorta. It has been misting here for about 3 hours now , this doesn't really add to the precip totals but it does a great job of making everything soggy. The garden seems to appreciate it.

The radar lied. It looked like I was getting soaked but drizzle was the heaviest it got. If this turns out to be a bust, as the chatter is suggesting, this could turn out to be one of the driest June's in a long time.

It drizzled a few times. The ground is still dry under the trees. Am I gonna end the month at or below 1.5"?

The worst part was I had 3 classes in east facing rooms in the morning so it was horrible. You know the 2nd floor of the north wing of OHS, those rooms cook in the mornings and I had 2 upstairs and one downstairs. It sucked.

That was the most unpleasant (and thankfully the last) September of my 13 year public school incarceration. I was so happy to be out by 1pm 4 days a week.

I'm pretty well under half of normal for the month and this shows all too well that it might happen again. It has the cutoff for really good amounts about 5 miles east of me. Watch me get an inch or less again while along and to the west of the Taconic, 5 miles west, stays at or above average.

Wow, I'm 12 miles from KDXR and I'm at 1.2 for the month so far.

Yup it rained here and it seemed hard but it was only for a very short time. I heard the thunder south of here.

I was thinking that too but was afraid to say it out loud. We're also not experiencing the gypsy moth problem they are in New England. Unfortunately due to minimal flowers and who knows what else, I've only seen 2 bees in my garden so far.

Drizzle so light the ground isn't even getting wet. Meh...

I got exactly an inch also. There isn't even a hint of a breeze, it's beyond muggy and the sky off to my ESE is angry. 68° and 98% RH. Yuck.
