The Raritan and lots of its tributaries are in my local area. There are several eagle nest cams around my area as well. I see them fairly often flying around and have had a few perched on trees in my yard over the years.
Looked at my station gauge, 1.66 grand total with last night. That initial rain was a little nw of you for the heaviest I believe. At one point my gauge registered 3.85"/hr
91 here today. Does anyone on the forum live near central park? Who cares. It gets wayyyyy too many posts. We all know the issue, move on already. Wrong summer temps and can't measure snow.
How has it improved predicted track accuracy? I've seen zero improvement in that department. That's what matters most out of anything. Strength of storms they've been pretty accurate with for a few decades now even without microwave imagery.
