  1. I think NYC is actually genuine. When he posted elsewhere for several years he was the same, and even worse in the Yankee thread.
  2. One of the warmest in NJ for you. 86 here.
  3. 85 and real feel of 88 isn't really room temp. But I'd take today most late spring/summer days.
  4. This is one random person who's post got 3 likes and less than 500 views in 10+ hours? I wouldn't say "some", it is one post plucked randomly.
  5. One search that took 2 seconds. Tons of results. This is just one. Maybe you don't know how to Google correctly? https://whyy.org/articles/philadelphia-built-environment-temperature-increase-12-degrees/
  6. That a good chart. So last year was a top 3 sunny May in the last nearly 50 years.
  7. Yeah, this May has been terrible. Last year was great.
  8. I think last May was one of our sunniest in many years interestingly. My solar panels recorded their highest monthly output for any month in the 11 years I've had them.
  9. Interesting, it has seemed that way without looking at the charts. Thanks for answering.
  10. So that is only for Winter? Have you done other seasons too?
  11. So you you put that much weight into the solar cycles for seasonal forecasting? @raindancewx do you use solar, and if so how much weight do you put into it for your forecast? You're forecasts are usually very good.
  12. 0.42" here and tapering down as well. Glad Friday is decent, prom day for my kids.
  13. "Tipping Point" is a term used to scare people. We have no clue what that might be. For all we know we can warm another 10 degrees worldwide and be fine. I'm pretty sure the world will adapt just like they have since we've been on it. The hysterics and failed claims/predictions (ice free by 2013 for example) ruin it for the alarmists. Then you all want the gov to fix things when the vast majority of you that post here don't trust the gov for anything (see OT for all the shit posts about the gov by many of you). It is quite funny actually to read it.
  14. I'm at nearly 2.5" of rain through the first 15 days. We haven't had the soakers so far thankfully.
  15. No one can tell the difference of a monthly temp departure of 2 degrees.
  16. I only got to 67 with that sun. Now back to clouds again. Had a little drizzle too 30 minutes ago.
  17. Darn that stinks. Those are fun trips
  18. Sun finally popping out here, 63
  19. There has been some bad luck with things lining up in the NE. Your run of bad winters hasn't been too bad in my location. The last 8 years I've averaged 27.85" of snow, or about 1' below normal, and that includes 2 seasons with less than 7" total. Where you are a warm winter is still plenty cold to snow.
  20. I did see it last night around 315. To the naked eye it was faint, but my phone cam captured it pretty good. I was excited
  21. Yup. Maybe if I wake up to pee at 4 am I'll luck out and see it
  22. People in Florida and the Bahamas seeing it
  23. Stayed in the 40s here but had a midnight high of 58
