  1. My pic above shows a large storm 2 years back. Was it a narrow band, 100% yes, but it shows it will still snow. Also had a 50"+ season just a few years ago. Anyone thinking otherwise is a complete loon
  2. According to where you are a bit too, because 23/24 i had 28.75" while he had much less and we both live in the tri-state. Snow is always more location dependant and someone always is in a screw zone. I got this storm, he missed it
  3. Forecast was mostly sunny for today last night. Now it says 20% chance of showers after 2 and has pretty much been cloudy today.
  4. Only your favorite since you are the only one who brings him up. That post has 4 comments btw. It shows no one cares.
  5. Yeah, that winter i was 8 but made me into the snow lover I still am to this day. Good memories playing with neighborhood friends. 47" at my location in Piscataway that year.
  6. Overall, besides the 1980s, it has been a pretty rare occurrence for 125 years. Glad we can still pull it off.
  7. No, but I'm sure they probably hit it more often. I'm sure one of the stat guys here have it at their fingertips
  8. I had 3 days in a row here with two 88's and an 89. I think New Brunswick has 3 90s as well, but the hot spot Newark has 8 like Warlock. 90 is a fancy # we like to use, but like it matters being 88 or 90. No one on earth can tell the difference.
  9. This is the best we can do. Beats the majority of Augusts recently where we are cranking out tons of 90s still.
  10. I saw Somerville was 49 this morning, their first 40s I believe. I made it to 52. Should be great weather later for the System of a Down concert.
  11. Philly has double digit more 90 degree days (17!) than Trenton which is only 30 or so miles away. Their highs have been off according to even Mets on another Philly centric board.
  12. Agree, and hit no traffic for once. 56 here. Decent amount of 50s (even some lower 50s) this month with several more to come
  13. Plenty of articles about that. But, maybe it is just a holding pattern for now, and then there will be another dip lower (or higher haha).
  14. I'm just reading the chart here from what Bluewave posted in the seas ice thread. I'm not sure it matters much in terms of enso compared to the past 15 years especially.
  15. Extent looks a little different, pretty much running the 2010s and 2020s average.
