Thanks! So it has gotten cold a few times, just not top 10, but top 30 is still in the top 15% or so. I know warmth has had many months, but was just wondering as the post makes it sound like it never has gotten cold the past decade.

Rain picked up a lot here now from the steady mist that was falling all morning. It was a joke. But, June is met summer, so things getting warm makes sense.

Haha! I don't mind it on the cool side, but wife likes it warmer. I should have my golden just sleep on her side, lol. My prize is keeping the fan on. 1.20" even all total so far from this storm.

Yup, bedroom is 65. I prefer 70 with the ceiling fan on low. Heats going on.

I wonder what the record low high is for New Brunswick for this date? 51 has to be close.

Pretty close to a record low High Temp today in some spots I believe. NYC is 54.

By the 2030s, normals will be too high for such a scenario to even be possible. That is pretty declarative. Anyway, good luck with that and I hope we area alive to see what happens. Now back to ENSO chatting.

Yeah, it was a bad day of global warming. Thank goodness for shorts and pools, am I right?! I'm sure people are happy that the rest of the 364 days of the year global warming isn't as bad there. Otherwise people might move to a cooler place, maybe central park.

He brought up a temp from app. No one cares about an arbitrary # that the weather community uses. If it is 89 or 90, not a single person in the world would change anything in their lives including you. No one also cares if it 35 or 33 on an app.

Do you think anyone cares if it says 89 vs 90 on an app? I highly doubt it. Both are hot and people will be wearing shorts minus nycsnow who will be wearing a light hoodie. Only a few weather enthusiasts really care. The same people that see 89 on an app also quote their cars when it says 95 when it is really 88.

They run 2° too hot, nyc 2° too cold. Just average them to make yourself happy. Question though for you. What's the difference between solar shades that all official stations use vs natural shade? Aren't both in the shade? I know underneath the stations matter (concrete vs grass), but can't find much about why different types of shade matter.

That dry slot has given me .75", tripling what I got for the last storm. Though now there is a dry slot moving in which is totally fine with me.
