  1. I remember him contesting for most HRs on the season, but didn't manage to do it, IIRC. Somewhere around here I still have a ball with his autograph. RIP
  2. I noticed that too. Was wondering if he has teamed with an editor somehow.
  3. Never thought I'd see these words on a Jeb post. (It's not snow related, so I guess it's OK) Don't worry. That Texas sun will dry out that car in due time. (Voice of experience here)
  4. Been using an old bagger style mower to shred leaves/grass to insulate a fig tree for winter. This is about 6 or 7 bags so far. Still a few weeks to go probably. Don't have much grass to mow here.
  5. 0.30" here. Might not be quite done.
  6. Looks like ya'll hit your first freeze :
  7. Drop the very horrible Dec 2015, and it's not as sensational. (admittedly, still bad.)
  8. Yeah, I check a couple others, and am getting lower numbers. But say it's the 7 previous years, then 1977 is 12.85. If it's inclusive, then 1977 is 11.44. Overall, I like the chart though. Or maybe I'm missing something. Edit: My calculation about 17-23 was wrong. But the other items still appear to be erroneous
  9. Take Super-Weenie Pill Supplements . Makes it so you can recall any snowfall measurement since childhood, but at the expense of forgetting things like your Mom's birthday. Or maybe even your own. (P.S. I'll bet @Jebman was optimistic in 2009)
  10. At least, in those days, it was the World Series. Remember our relief staff, with the beautiful and fluid motion of Tippy Martinez. Remember Don Stanhouse, nicknamed "full pack" , because they say Weaver smoked a full pack to calm his nerves whenever the guy was on the mound. Even so, he was our best reliever in number of saves.

  12. September total 5.72" Highest temp 93; lowest 50
  13. Update seems to imply that the flooding was due to clogged storm drain.
  14. 1.32 since last night obs. Most came in the mid afternoon downpour. Typical super-humid rain day. Hi temp 77f
  15. 0.24" (includes last night overnight) 67f
  16. 0.10" overnight total Currently partly cloudy 69/67
  17. After 45 mins of dry T & L, we are finally getting some rain (at 10:30)
  18. T & L at 4:10 am, but not a drop of rain. Yesterday's high of 93f surprised me a little considering the cloudiness we had here. Tied for my hottest day of the summer.
  19. 91 hi today. Noticeable cloudiness at times may be what knocked a degree off yesterday. Same for KNAK
  20. Is this it? I looked to see if there is a battery, (yes), which you can put a meter on and check, and seem to find a few tips in the review section. (A lot of complaints too, but that is not what I'm after. Not relevant. ) https://logiaweatherstations.com/products/7-in-1-wireless-weather-station-with-wi-fi®-and-solar-panel?_pos=6&_sid=36d79f11e&_ss=r#shopify-product-reviews Might help a little
