I’ve never had a problem with moles in the garden....squirrels and chipmunks are another story depending on our weather. If it’s dry I’ve seen the bastards take just a small bite out of tomatoes to get the juice. I almost wish that they had just eaten the whole tomato!
My wife handles the vegetable garden, for the most part. The way I see it, I mow the lawn once a week typically while she has to deal with the garden daily.
Just finished raking parts of the yard...again. I’ve said if before, with all the the little twigs and small branches that fall with every wind event I have no idea how trees survive.
.2”, it could’ve been more at its peak overnight but I wasn’t up, the cars were covered with a sloppy mess and the ground in the woods was white when I got up, all gone now. I’m at 385’, there was likely more up on the hill which is over 500’.
22.3”, second worse season here with 15-16 still the worst at 12.1”. A couple other years close to this one are 26.8” in 06-07 and 23.5” in 11-12.
Lowest temp of the season here was 7 on 12/8 and again on 2/15.
Wow! I knew the air was getting better but thats impressive. I just went to that site and have to get familiar with but see Newburgh is in the low 30’s this morning.
We’ve been getting in at least two miles a day around the park...we actually prefer when it’s not too nice out as it keeps more people away from the park...
And...are you feeling ok? I know someone up here that thought she just started seasonal allergies but then lost her sense of taste and smell and then tested positive.
My coworker tested on 3/18 took 12 days, my grandson tested on 3/25 took 7 days, both fortunately were negative. Hang in there thoughts with you and everyone dealing with this first hand. It was a dank windy day out there today.
