  1. Yeah...THAT day....beware the ides of May...not a fun day for me but was for others I know.
  2. You’ll be able to have a decent fire tomorrow too...welcome to March or November...
  3. He simply can’t be trusted, just can not be trusted.
  4. The snow hole over me even shows up in May, who would’ve thunk it?
  5. It was tough, the only way to post was to sit in front of my 3.2gb desktop. Now writing high school reports...yeah, the old electric typewriter but it was a step up as at least the new typewriter had correction tape in it!
  6. I want to say I started in 1998, sometime back around then though on ne.weather
  7. That would imply actually driving said vehicle.
  8. Amateur. Everyone knows you measure on car rooftops this time of year.
  9. Everyone make sure you cut your grass nice and low so it doesn’t poke through the snow.
  10. It’s coming..... At least the cold is
  11. Well then it’s most deserved for you, enjoy! The guy I know in 55 Truck had The Rona back in March, recovered now. Stay safe.
  12. 5/11/10 I got down to 30 here. This year flakes over @gravitylovers garden?
  13. Yeah, I was building my HO layout about 35 years ago when you still needed insulated blocks to run different locomotives...there was quite a spaghetti mess of wires under the layout.
  14. Just think of how epic tomorrow will be, some social distancing adult beverages on tap out in the yard.
  15. Nice. That’s a hobby I need to get back into.
  16. Like @doncat said, it’s been miserable all day regardless of what’s been tallied in the gauge
  17. I wonder if anyone is wondering where the current weather pattern was during winter...
  18. I keep trying to learn them...each time I like to think I retain something more but at the end of the day I’m still an idiot.
  19. I’ve never had a problem with moles in the garden....squirrels and chipmunks are another story depending on our weather. If it’s dry I’ve seen the bastards take just a small bite out of tomatoes to get the juice. I almost wish that they had just eaten the whole tomato!
  20. My wife handles the vegetable garden, for the most part. The way I see it, I mow the lawn once a week typically while she has to deal with the garden daily.
  21. Just finished raking parts of the yard...again. I’ve said if before, with all the the little twigs and small branches that fall with every wind event I have no idea how trees survive.
