  1. Clearly you’re on to something Walt as the SPC has some of us in the Slight area.
  2. Personally, no but that’s due to my location within a county park. The area in general, yes, my infant grandson was disturbed numerous times last night while trying to go to sleep where my son lives in Middletown. There was an article in the local paper this morning about the issue.
  3. Brown fields as far as the eye can see here as well, sitting at .37” for June here. This only increases the fire risk with all the amateur fireworks these days.
  4. I’d water. Even if there are showers there’s no guarantee where they will be or how much they will drop. It’s super dry here any thunderstorm I get now will certainly just run off.
  5. Much like reading somes posts
  6. Euro showing a total of .10” of rain here in the next 10 days...
  7. I have zero issues letting my relatively weed free yard going dormant. If I’m having a party I will occasionally use sprinklers on that section of the yard, otherwise let Mother Nature deal with it.
  8. The Euro showing a total of .30” of rain here in the next 10 days, I won’t have to deal with mowing the lawn anymore.
  9. My heat would’ve kick on if I had it on.
  10. This is definitely a stellar day, just stellar.
  11. 3 yards and a cloud of dust...not football...mowing the lawn...
  12. .16 here, DP down to 74 after a high of 76
  13. for elderly Florida residents.
  14. I’ve been seeing garter snakes since March, as is tradition, also have milk snakes. I saw one a couple weeks ago that was at least three feet long, that will get your attention. They are completely harmless to humans but are often mistaken for a poisonous snake, including myself the first time I encountered one years ago.
  15. That’s why I say it’s easier to maintain the lawn and flower gardens, my wife can deal with the veggie garden. Dry begets dry around here, sure it’s damp but it doesn’t add up to much of anything.
  16. Agreed, 39 here. Saturday’s rain got me over 2”. 2.01” for May which is 2.16” below average.
