  1. warming up quickly here-already 50
  2. Night time would be key-anything at 12 noon or even 2pm won't likely cut it
  3. no even worth looking at along with the CMC---EURO/UKie way to go
  4. I'd give it a 1 in 15 chance...if we had an NAO block, we'd be in business
  5. DCA _ NYC _ BOS __ ORD _ ATL _ IAH ___ DEN _ PHX _ SEA +3.0 +2.5 +2.0 even +5.0 +3.5 -1.0 -1.0 -2.0
  6. heading to Okemo weekend of 3/20-hoping we see a snowstorm around that time-interestingly, we went to Mohawk (NW CT) yesterday and saw 3 inches from 3 intense squalls that hit us-crazy whiteout in one of them-made for great skiing with the fresh powder. Luckiest day ever.
  7. EPO has been mainly positive and the dips to negative much less in strength that forecast. I doubt that changes given the persistence of this pattern
  8. Good move-look at all the time you've saved lol.
  9. Pattern has been so bad we can't even get that.....
  10. I don't see much to get excited about-we have 4 days of cold now-bone dry of course and then models show a big torch coming....
  11. actually it will be Met Spring on Sunday. Get ready for the torch, it's the only torch you got
  12. he's in Worcester at 1500 feet, you're in the Atlantic Ocean-night and day
  13. No cold air-what a surprise! LOL he's really grasping at straws
  14. you know it's been warm when you step outside (I did just now) and 39 degrees feels frigid.
  15. There's literally nothing there. A couple small towns, but wow it would be boring compared to NYC other than the big snows.
  16. some speculation that the solar minimum could help with blocking although it did nothing for us this year if there is indeed any connection.
  17. I'd say the snow hid the bust on the temps-it the winter ends up +3 and we have 50 inches of snow, all is forgiven. If we're +3 and no snow, then different story.
  18. I'm surprised he's even posting weather stuff there after this winter....
  19. No snow in I95 corridor-people just don't go-backyard snow effect
  20. I would tend to agree Don. A warm month is likely in my opinion, the question will be whether it's like Jan and Feb (+5 to 6) or muted somewhat by bouts of cold say +2 to 3
  21. It's made central air conditioning somewhat essential around here as well. Houses built in the 50's-70's around here often did not have it b/c it was not needed.
  22. They use them to make artificial reefs
