  1. Lol. We had a 25mph gust earlier…my neighbor asked when the big winds are coming…funny how the general public doesn’t know it’s not happening.
  2. Crazy. That’s the interaction bw the upper low and the storm
  3. Given the amount of forest/above ground lines in CT I shudder to think what a 1938 redux would do. Months without power for some
  4. Lol I didn’t listen to him it’s JB being JB I’m just illustrating how things get out of control with the hype.
  5. That’s exactly it no one wants to be the first to pull the plug. I remember March 2001 in NYC the local channels still had reporters in Times Square for an inch of slush. Tough call but at some point you say it’s not happening as we thought and pull the plug.
  6. I would resume normal programming at this point.
  7. It does suck. This looked like the real deal Thursday, then slowly fell apart. JB was saying 25 billion in damage at one point!
  8. The hype is out of control. Non stop coverage for what will essentially be a rainstorm in Most of CT lolololol
  9. North winds will limit that threat
  10. Can probably cancel a lot of the TS warnings especially west
  11. Heavy rain here. Mainly a flood threat for western CT. Winds calm.
  12. Would go down as one of the all time great busts….
  13. Great post. Also true of miller B’s in winter-always seem to verify a bit east
  14. 75 yes. That’s my max. Had it been 90-100 we would be in for a beating but even 75 will weaken back down to TS as it enters colder water tonight
  15. If it’s an 85-90 mph cane I will give you full credit just having a hard time seeing that based on satellite and the short lead time left. Needed to be a cane by now IMO.
  16. Amd you are the worst weenie out there hanging on til the last possible second….lol take a breath dude and do you really want 5+ days without power
  17. Sounds like “too little too late”
  18. Yeah I wonder if it ever becomes a hurricane
  19. Yep into RI then north from there. Verbatim a non event for most here. From the furthest west to now furthest east model lol
  20. 984 vs 988 a bit east. West trend might be done
  21. Have to wonder if this thing ever becomes a hurricane
