  1. seems that the temps on the warmup as are always above forecast though
  2. I'd leave the day 10 OP maps in banter. Post ensembles etc if you're going to post a map. Otherwise discussion is fine.
  3. what an incredible year that was...even the 3 week thaw in Jan featured storm after storm.
  4. Torch water temps in the Atlantic too which can be a problem 1st half of winter
  5. 31 here everything is frozen. Water on top of cars etc
  6. some decent lightning and thunder here but no hail or high winds
  7. yeah it sped up too-sun coming out here now...
  8. el busto here-some good winds but not much rain fall and the back edge is about 60-90 minutes away
  9. true to some degree. How often do you see a mild/snowless winter forecasted?
  10. that cold pool south of AK is cause for concern for sure. We've also been dry out side of the last week of October....want storms right now even if they're cutters
  11. it was warm enough here on xmas eve last year that we hosted an outdoor champagne toast that morning on our driveway since indoor gatherings were not recommended. Memorial Day weekend and July 4th weekend each had a day that was COLDER than Xmas eve last year. Crazy how warm the last 10 days of December tend to be lately.
  12. they came out of the woodwork here too-always when we get a November warm spell
  13. one big snow storm mid Dec, Jan was slightly above average temps with little to no snow, 2/1 to 2/21 was the big snow blitz. March average temps no snow.
  14. Last 5-6 winters have been warm overall. Last truly cold stretch was 13-14 and 14-15 combos
  15. yep dry and average to maybe slightly below average at times...yawn city the most exciting thing might be the time change this weekend...LOL
