Still 10 days out. At least for now, summer's back appears to have been broken with the cold front on 7/29. Maybe the heat comes back maybe it doesn't. Today is humid but it's only 75 here so not too difficult to take...

I'm sure shore/beach businesses don't like the earlier starts....I've noticed the prices to rent some places really drops after 8/20 or so which reflects the dropping demand for those dates

Same here but I find the kids are bored by mid August. Rather see them get out earlier in June. Some years with the all the bogus snow days they call now get out June 25th or even later....

I enjoy snow and winter but the older I get the more I envision heading south at some point-the 5 months of gloom and early sunsets is a bit much here...
