  1. Down to 7:58 here. (down from 8:30) Sunrise up to 5:59 AM (up from 5:23) This is from my Davis weather station.
  2. heading to the S Jersey shore tomorrow-water temp there 73 which is a bit cooler than other years this week

  13. yeah we tend to not think of it when it's cool out but March/April sun is strong. I had the same thing happen after skiing after the 4/1/97 blizzard....
  14. That has nothing to do with heat-it's sun angle. It could be 55 or 95 degrees today and you'd still burn the same.

  16. Yep I opined that the back of summer was broken with the 7/29 cold front so far that looks to be the case...
  17. This is very true here-every event is a heavy downpour dropping copious amts of rain...I'm sure later today will be no exception.
  18. with the trough in the NE it will be a continuation of fronts/vorts coming through every couple days
  19. Both NAMS backed off their big 12z run bigly
  20. yep we got NAM'd at 12z. 3K is wiff for most even worse than the 12K
  21. he's been trying for big heat since May...seasonal trend/pattern doesn't support it especially with waterlogged ground
