  1. Any preexisting? My buddy is having a small surgery and had to get a covid test first. He had one at ECMC, an hour later he got his results and positive. No symptoms at all. I talked to him at the gym a few days ago for about 30 minutes. His masks is always below his nose. Wish me luck fellas.
  2. Is the GFS going away and being replaced with the Para in February?
  3. We had that big area wide snowstorm in Mid. Nov. I believe everyone got from 12-18" at all reporting stations. We had a bigger one this year just farther SE by 100 miles.
  4. We had some fantastic thunderstorms over our last summer. One of which provided 1-2 hours of lighting and thunder as it came over our area. Still have to put that video together.
  5. This is pretty bad for a 16 day ENS run in the middle of January
  6. Went for a 4 mile run in the neighborhood. Actually looks like most yards have 3-5" on the ground still. Remarkable snow retention. The LES was pretty sloppy at beginning of event around here plus that 1:6-8 ratio 7" the day before.
  7. I just want snow falling at 3" per hour so I can go for my jeb walks.
  8. I don’t really care about snowpack but 2-3” of concrete. Lots of pretty big snowpiles left. Actually quite shocked after 2" of rain, thunderstorms and warm temps for days we still have any left.
  9. Lots of rain again overnight here. Nearly 2" of rain in the last few days here.
  10. Agreed, just saying the USA leadership completely failed in their response. Meanwhile Australia and New Zealand are nearly completely back to normal. I watched a bunch of videos with thousands in the streets celebrating new years without masks on. Would be pretty nice right now to watch next years first Bills playoff game in 25 years in person. Wish we responded to this better.
  11. Constant thunder over here right now. Nothing like some good ole fashion Jan 2nd Tstorms.
  12. Yeah, I share stuff here over on the Great lakes section. Just wanted to point out were pretty close to herd immunity. Vaccines likely too late to make a huge difference. After you factor in Decembers case numbers that is. An estimated 3 million vaccinations were made in December, while it was supposed to be near 20 million.
  13. The abnormally warm conditions north of the border slowly fade and is replaced by a colder regime around mid month on the Euro Weeklies
  14. The CDC estimates the actual number of people infected (including asymptomatic cases) at 90mil through Nov 30th (doesn't include Decembers numbers) That’s almost 30% of the country. This is a relatively new update from the CDC (12/23). More here https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/burden.html That would put the fatality rate at .4%. CDC estimate of influenza death rate for most recent year is .057% (22,000 deaths / 38 million estimated cases). So, if the 90mill estimate is accurate, COVID is 7 times deadlier than Influenza

  16. Actually not a bad ending to Euro. A large piece of PV breaks off to the Great Lakes.
  17. Literally the worse pattern. Give me 50 and sunny so at least I can run outside.
  18. What map is that? It's not single digits here. Is that 700 mb map?
