    This storm definitely #1 and the other real awesome one for #2 imo was the winter storm that brought the extreme cold early 2014.

    Funny you mention that. Last Friday once everything was pretty much melted. I was on my way to a job site and seen an older gentleman doing yard work. Picking up leaves and branches. Had me flabbergasted he was doing that so late in the season.

    Makes up a tiny bit for what happened Sunday night. As Stebo said waking up and seeing a “squall line” on snow coming our way was a good way to wake up imo. Grass for the most part is covered again for now.

    Was not expecting to see 3-5 inches of snow in the point and click forecast today. Very pleasant surprise.

    All the creeks are elevated. Where I’m working now most of the forests have turned into swamps especially after last night. Some forest flooding I’ve seen so far is areas that have not been flooded it quite some time going off the type of vegetation that’s around. I definitely never would have had the rain nor the cold on my 2024 winter bingo card this year.

    Somewhere in that easement is my answer lol. Wicked fog day today. Not very often we get to experience this level of fog in the middle of the day.

    Funny you post that. I just bought myself a set of those same ones because I busted my ass 5 times last week and fell thru ice crossing a creek during work. Had a cheap pair but lost those last week also

    GFS nailed the ice storm that hit SE Michigan last February. But just like anything that model is the one that won out with that event. We will see this go around.

    Now can we have a good strong LP produce widespread high ratio snows instead of concrete. That would be the cherry on top. It’s been great the past week! Very fortunate to have to snow we have got so far.
