    I have 6.5" of snow at this point. It was supposed to stop snowing at noon. It's still coming down, though it is very small and on the lighter side. Definitely has that good ol winter day of years gone by feel to it. I'm very happy most people, if not all forum wide got a good hit!

    That would be great. Euro shows me around 6-8" last I checked. I'm a bit more north, might be a struggle to get that little extra up here.

    Snow is still coming down at a decent rate here. It's very small fine flakes, but it's starting to add up. Just a little over an inch so far, at least that's what my brother measured. My girls aren't home to measure and take pics for me, but I will try to get a few pics up tomorrow.

    It has been snowing consistently for a few hours and until 15-30 minutes ago, it was only sticking to grass and vehicles. The roads and my front porch are lightly covered now.

    Sorry I'm late to getting to post. It came down with a quick burst a bit ago. Enough to cover everything. It stopped for a little, but it's starting to pick back up.

    Stopped snowing here around midnight. Had around 1.5" of snow/sleet. ZR kicked in around 2am, was forecast to stop around 6am with a high of 43 today. It didn't change over to all rain until around 3pm today. The temp stayed right around 33 up until this afternoon, now it's around 36. My cousin who lives 2 hours to the northwest of me has 6 inches of snow.

    The forecast on Tuesday for today and tomorrow had around 14-22 of snow inches total. I should have screenshot it. Probably won't see that again for awhile lol. I knew that total was too good to be true. That's the game we play in this part of the world.

    Just now starting to throw some flurries out here. Too bad for all the ZR/rain tonight and tomorrow, makes me sad this time of year. Maybe in the next week or two we can cash in. Great pics everyone!

    It gives me 15". I would be very happy if I received half of that total. The 06z NAM gives me no snow, but 1.5" of ZR. Who knows what's going to happen at this point.

    This storm has me nervous lol. Getting close to something good, but I fear I may be a bit too north. It's still early though. I think you Tennessee folks may be in for a nice treat!

    I can only remember one really bad Ice storm growing up. It hit in the middle of the day while I was in school. It came out of nowhere and half of us kids were stuck at school until up in the day. February 94 definitely fits that's timeline.

    Had rain here all morning. Changed over to a mix around 11. It's changed to all snow and pretty good sized flakes for the past 30 minutes.

    Starting to get some decent sized flakes. Been spitting smaller flakes for about an hour now. Picking up a bit heavier too. Already a nice coating.

    Came home from a concert in Pikeville KY on the newly opened stretch of the Coalfields Expressway around midnight. Once I crossed over into the VA side the snow was heavy with poor visibility near Breaks Interstate Park. There is a solid dusting on the ground right now. It will be interesting to see if we pick up anymore later.

    If my records are correct for MBY, I'm sitting at 24" in Keen Mountain, Buchanan county. That's the most I've had in quite awhile. Then again I have to trust what my girls are measuring lol!! It's definitely one of the better winters here in some time.

    I've got 5" total since yesterday, it's still coming down pretty good out there. Might squeeze another inch or two before it's done.

    Thank you bud. It seems to really be region wide, I'm just hoping and praying for everyone involved. Thankfully it seems the heaviest of the rain has pushed through for now.

    Multiple people stranded in Hurley VA. My fiance's good friend and her family are currently being rescued. This is the worst flooding of my lifetime in this area.

    It's not looking good here now. Most places are flooded. My parents home,of which they have lived for 33 years is flooding into their yard for the first time since they've lived there. Multiple roads are washed out. It's a scary situation.

    Widespread flooding in my area. Multiple mudslides. One on Rt. 460 below the Grundy Fire Department, both lanes were blocked. I believe they have one lane opened back up now.
