I like your disclaimers...I definitely wouldn't be slam ducking a forecast for this one anytime soon. That winter hurricane is definitely going to be a bit of a player for the next system, just how much depends on just how big it gets...
I still think we need the ocean storm to develop and move through tomorrow before any model will be able to latch on to a final solution for Monday...just my 2 cents, it seems like the models are having a hard time handling a storm 24 hrs from now
Kids can't sled on the glacier out there right now, so lets wipe it clean and start over again...even the great years had one of these massive rainstorms at one point
Wife woke me up at 130 this morning...Did you hear that loud popping sound? I see the low got down to 6.6⁰ right around that time, definitely the deck. Was it 2017 when the ground was cracking around here?
My deck is south facing, down to 3 inches already. However the yard is still between 6 and 7. I wish it would melt faster on my solar panels. I definitely do not need a glacier forming on those....
Just to the west now of the heaviest echoes, still snowing heavily though. Quick measurement on the deck 3.75"
Good luck to those in Central CT, going to jackpot there it seems
Been under this band for an hour or so, eyeballing 2 inches so far....hopefully more of a northerly component to the movement or it is flurries for me..27.0⁰
I made this comment yesterday and will continue to have this worry for us west of the river on this particular storm....still thinking 1-3 around here, hope I am wrong though
