another band of snow has developed, temp briefly hit 26, back down to 24....11:40 am on March 28th, Lol

Early March had a similar streamer, must be the perfect trajectory for this area. Otherwise the hills seem to eat up the precip.... I should note, the image on the left was this morning, the one on the right from early March

It was snowing so hard it set off one of my security cameras around 3:30, it was impressive. I was just west of that band, but still managed 1.5"

The only reason they loved him was he made them rich....now his decision to invade Ukraine has led to their financial collapse. They will turn on him pretty quick, their children already have. China expected a quick affair with a few sanctions tossed around, 2014 all over again. Clearly that hasn't happened, the last thing China wants is a long drawn out battle with the risk of nuclear weapons. They may end up being the ones that help put an end to this situation..

We ended up with a Regency insert, would have preferred something freestanding, but with kids running around thought an insert would be safer. I am surprised how well it distributes the heat. Solar is great, especially if the roof faces the right direction. We produced 62 kWh today with our 10.08 kW system!

Just had my wood stove installed last fall....perfect timing it seems. I filled my 275 gallon oil tank in October. I have used roughly half the tank so far and about 3 cords of wood. I have supplemented heat in my upstairs with a space heater before bed, especially on the cold days when the sun doesn't really heat up the house. The only electricity that I use is what I have banked from my solar production. I have not had an electric bill since my September bill. I paid $200 per cord, 4 cords total at the beginning of the season, paid $2.42 per gallon for the oil, early in the season....

I feel like China, being neighbors to Russia probably will have a say in what Russia could use. The last thing China wants is a Nuclear war in their backyard. The way Russia is being slammed financially, China may decide to take Russia at some point, increase their land and and oil capabilities....

2.8" of mostly sleet here, did not take a core, just melted down what fell in the stratus and it had a remarkable 1.05"....if only it was all snow....maybe next year

His already financially strapped country is losing a ton of money every day they continue this battle. Who knows how their military is handling covid? Their country is dealing with omicron right now, their vaccine didn't seem to do very well, despite their claims....Hong Kong is a disaster right now, I cant imagine what the Russian army might be dealing with.... The last thing putin needs is to level the country, if he does take it over he wont have any money to rebuild it. To top it off, a majority of the world is going to boycott anything coming from Russia....It really doesn't seem like putin cares anything for his own country at this point.

That is a beautiful map and I wish it were correct....but, the mix line is always closer than you expect, I am sure many will be glued to the CC radar trying to push that mix line south. Lol, hopefully it stays in Jersey
