  1. Makes sense right? The only green I have is from the septic field and the larger patches of clover. Otherwise it is as brown as I have ever seen grass since I moved up from Delaware. I have been soaking my cukes almost everyday, those things are producing better than ever, go figure....
  2. Yeah our 500' well only does roughly 200-250 gallons every 24 hrs...so keeping the garden and pool happy has been a little tough, ran the well dry 1.5 weeks ago trying to topp off the pool and water the garden on the same day... The only thing green right now are the trees, wetlands, and the weeds...
  3. https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/southbury-urging-residents-in-pomperaug-basin-area-to-conserve-water/2824921/?amp=1 Southbury making drought news....it is amazing to see full size forsythia bushes wilted by 10 am...haven't mowed since June 19th
  4. A few drops of rain, but that was all....the garden looks terrible despite watering every couple of days. Less than 1 inch of rain over the past 30 days. Going to be another warm day here, 68/64 currently....
  5. Looks like the a/c gets some use moving forward. Hopefully the increase in dews, leads to more rain chances. 56.8⁰ this morning, last cool morning for a while it seems....
  6. 46.6⁰ for the low...can we get some rain now? Yard has taken quite a hit over the past month

  8. What a morning, 47.5⁰ for the low on July 4th. The swimming pool looked like a hot springs with all the steam coming off of it
  9. 84/50, warm to hot in the sun but quite comfortable in the shade with the northerly breeze. Looks like another low in the 40s incoming. Top 10 day for sure....Pool is pushing 86⁰
  10. Dryness continues here, 0.05" overnight....Lots of lightning though. Muggy morning, 75/69
  11. fully expecting rainfall that doesn't even wet underneath the trees.....0.88" here since the 10th of June, everything is crispy, very August like in our desert.
  12. It could be worse, I'm hoping to pickup up the add on fan at some point. When the budget allows it....
  13. Great for opening the windows, but the warm weather garden varieties hate it...
  14. 48.6⁰ for the low, so many lows in the 40s for the month of June...As long as the sun is shining, I am OK with this weather....
  15. It's definitely hot in the sun, currently 88.7⁰/60⁰....humidity backed off a bit. Definitely need some rain out there
  16. 83/69 at 10:45, warm but it could be worse for sure.....
  17. My system is only 1 year old, but yesterday was my record productiondayas well, perfect conditions. I managed 72.7 kwh for the day.
  18. Almost broke into the 30s, 40.5⁰ and currently still only 43⁰....impressive for June 20th. My snow peas are still going strong
  19. Yup, pool was just finished 2 days ago, temp 71⁰ and my oldest was out swimming earlier today....meanwhile it is 58⁰ and pouring rain. Looks like bright banding on radar, lol, what a June
  20. Things are quite dry here as well. Amazing how that massive batch of rain just dries up as it heads our way.
  21. Just in time, the pool liner install starts today....these 50 degree morning have been great though
  22. The lows this month are stunting my tomato and pepper plants, the snow peas and producing like crazy....too many 40s and low 50s at night. On the other hand, what fantastic weather it has been.
