Yeah, not more than 5 minutes west of me there's still at least 8-10 inches down. We have pretty much nothing left, just patches

Has it been getting better at all the last couple runs? I haven't had a chance today to look at those charts

This is true... its just the thread starters phrasing and extreme exuberance that causes the nails on a chalkboard response to the.... threat

Well.... he thought he was onto something. I am not going to make an issue of a fellow forum members youth and inexperience

Not just for the 27th, but moving beyond as well. It seems many times we get a storm like this it reshuffles the deck on the OP runs

If it were me, I'd leave early. Rain and wind, no problem... but I'm sure you know how long it takes to get treatment on the highways up there. They won't be able to pre treat either with the rain

Hate to say I even looked at it, but the CMC actually went the other way. No more hit on the latest run

If you're looking for wire to wire pack, it ain't happenin in West Hartford that's for sure! I spent several decades in Granby CT which is world's different snow-wise than West hartford. We rarely saw that even there. If you want any chance of having some kind of fairly consistent wire to wire in this area, you need to get up into like at least the granville/blanford Mass area. And even there, yeah it doesn't happen regularly

What else is new. But yeah.. i guess it's all we got for a while

Yeah, it's still 27 at my shop here in Simsbury

Too early... just use the December thread for now

We were on the Cape in Truro for that one! It was the first time I saw snow at the beach. The forecast originally was for the storm to miss even the Cape. That morning they added an inch or two to the forecast. All day they couldn't keep up and by evening we had 17 inches. It was pretty much the only positive bust I can remember in the 80s
