    Not necessarily. It's just understanding when and where they should be used. It's pretty common knowledge that the NAM blows except in the short range

    Agreed. Even in a great 100 plus inch winter no one should complain about just a 3 to 6 event. It's foolish to believe an insane QPF output past even just a few days. Lets just get some happy little winter weather and enjoy it

    Amazing comments like usual from some. Did some of you really expect a 2 foot storm when like one run showed something close? It's north... it's south it's WTF. The fact is it still looks likely for some sort of widespread snow, details to come. This is why you should never expect more than a 6-12er except in special circumstances

    I just had to call our plow guy and let him know our driveway is a sheet of ice. Started freezing up about an hour ago. We're across the street from Big Y on Hopmeadow St.

    There was heavy sleet in Westfield a half hour ago, and now moderate sleet in Simsbury just as I get to the office. Temp just dropped below freezing

    Yeah I'm definitely not all in like the person who started the thread and won't be for another day or so however it does look more promising than anything we've had in a while
