  1. That looked like a great track for most of the run! But it did not go boom fast enough! We will see if this goes north and west with time.
  2. That is a trend you do not want to see this early! It will be in PA by tomorrow at that rate of adjustment!
  3. I do not think we are looking for perfect set up this early. We want the key players on the field - or Ducks on the pond.. or whatever.. a perfect set up will likely disappoint if modeled this early.
  4. Hoping HH throws us some encouragement. Signals are not strong enough yet to get too invested through
  5. Been around 32.5 and 33 degrees all day.
  6. Feel the Grinch stole the good pattern! Maybe it will change and the PNA will grow positive by a few sizes because of Christmas... Bah humbug
  7. Flurries. Like that band of snow showers to the south
  8. Pattern recognition and actual outcomes are two different things. The bickering over DT comments is ridiculous. The pattern looks favorable for potential winter weather. Stick with that and let's see it play out. Please stop the madness.
  9. I was going to say the same. Good potential in that look.
  10. I swear I saw a Low forecasted there recently! LOL!
  11. Dusted in Purcellville. Nice little whitening frosting over the glacier underneath. Coldest point of the overnight. Sitting at 29
  12. Nice little snow showers in Purcellville the last 30 minutes. Took the fog on a walk. Much calmer than 24 hours ago!
  13. After I went out and actually saw how much more snow I got, it was definitely NOT the whopping 1 to 2 inches I had thought! SORRY for the exaggeration. Actual measuring and getting real data is super important! Storm: * First Snow - 5.3 inches * Sleety Mess - 1 inch * Topper - .65 inches Total = 6.95 inches but it only is between 4 and 5 inches on the ground due to melting and compaction (measured best I could) Huge win! Hated that we could not be all snow, but in December.. just can't complain much. Also, beautiful walk this morning with the dog. The streets are super icy! If you have a rudder sled, there have to be some amazing spots to fly!
  14. With this extra snow it finally got powdery enough for drifting! (had to do it!) but it is true! The back stairs look like a Ski slop now because he steps have snow drifted all up them!
  15. What a nice coating to end! We have nearly 2 inches more! YIKES to power flashes!
  16. Just finished shoveling 180 feet of aleety slush mushy icy mess.. And it started sleeting like crazy. Everything is covered and white again with ice pellets. Snow is trying to get involved but it is slow to transition. That was not fun. But it kind of was fun!
