  1. Belchertown will be starting its annual "Severe Thunderstorm Warning Capital of New England" title defense.
  2. Greens and pinks were visible to the eye, especially on the horizon between 11pm-midnight and 2-4am. Every now and then some strange formations would occur. I didn't see any actual "dancing" but more beams and columns.
  3. Things were pretty wild last night. I was standing in the driveway until about 4am. I was just using an old Galaxy phone with a 3-6 second exposure.
  4. We got another 2-3" last night. Many side and main roads (e.g., rt. 202, 26) are still closed/impassable. According to the last update 80% of town is without power. Ill be using more leave time today.
  5. Not surprised. Just drove around for an hour and every direction other than 95 was blocked by downed trees and lines. The one open gas station in town had a 15-20 car line.
  6. The community pages on FB are reporting Rt. 26 and 202 are impassable in multiple areas.
  7. Radar just keeps bringing the bands in. Solid 2" rates for the past hour. We are probably close to 20"
  8. Just did the driveway. The Toro really is impressive. Just blew through 15-16" like nothing.
  9. Absolutely ripping. Over 2" of paste down so far.
  10. Over an 1" down on the non-paved surfaces. Roads starting to whiten up.
  11. Never thought of that. I just always have a cordless drill in my truck, house, then a third in the garage.
  12. Drill through the lock. Just ask @MBRI The garage door had a 3/4" hole straight through from the time I was in middle school until at least grad school lol
  13. The Sox are doing well but I think the Mets are looking for pitchers.
  14. And work expects folks to drive in if they lose power/internet. LOL
  15. I've been paying attention to it the past few storms and it seems to really over-does thermals.
  16. Oh jeez, I forgot about the eclipse. As if this year wasn't bad enough with people hiking up in sneakers and needing a rescue.
  17. I wish more of it blew over to Wildcat. The Sherb has been loaded all year.
  18. It is usually so damn good at sniffing out those warm layers but was sniffing glue for the last event.
  19. Given the recent weather and now feet of snow avy risk will be pretty high.
