Our daughter woke up and snuck into bed around 4am, I peeked at the radar and thought "welp, so much for that 4-6."About 8-10" down and still dumping here.
The typical pivot should give us a couple more hours of decent bands and light snow at the end. Since moving here I've always been surprised by how much storms linger for a couple extra hours.
My back is jealous. I just finished our driveway after leaving yesterday's assuming it would be gone when I got home from work. Nope. In the process of clearing it the temp spiked to 54* lol. Just another reason to go buy an old skid-steer Bobcat.
Greens and pinks were visible to the eye, especially on the horizon between 11pm-midnight and 2-4am. Every now and then some strange formations would occur. I didn't see any actual "dancing" but more beams and columns.
We got another 2-3" last night. Many side and main roads (e.g., rt. 202, 26) are still closed/impassable. According to the last update 80% of town is without power. Ill be using more leave time today.
Not surprised. Just drove around for an hour and every direction other than 95 was blocked by downed trees and lines. The one open gas station in town had a 15-20 car line.
