  1. Curious what the ratio ends up being. A 18-20" surprise? lol
  2. Lost power/interwebz three times so far this morning, all 5-10 minutes each. Wind is howling, occasional snow, woodstove cranking. Funny to think I will be fishing on the boat in shorts come Friday. Got to love New England.
  3. Absolutely cranking up the spine from at least Stratton (no Mt. Snow cam) north. The gondi cars at the summit of Stratton are really swaying in the wind.
  4. Love these events. The NW flow really favors some places. Twice I was at Pico and they received 12"+ above 3000' and was snowing at 2-3" per hour rates, meanwhile Killington reported 3-4" for the day. A true snow stealer being just a mile NW.
  5. It is. I have definitely played around with the idea of the wife and I flying out to Idaho for a week to ski in January or February since there are several decent ski areas out there included in our season passes. Some short fights from BDL to Boise for the two of us round trip would be about $400-500, lodging is dirt cheap too. Not factoring in food could basically ski for 6 days out there for ~$1000.
  6. That parking plan at K will be interesting. Could be rough if you don't have a place slope side, a lot of waiting to park and walking. And they are planning on using shuttles? Be curious how long that lasts.
  7. Yup, never woke up to a frosted lawn or garden. Pretty wild.
  8. Ripping again to close....well it was a great winter folks!
  9. Snow and wind really picking up again. Just over 2.5"
  10. Yea, that area down to Webster probably jacks given the early bands with more to come.
  11. Plow just went by, then the mail truck slid about 20' past our box and into the gutter. Greasy roads.
  12. Wind picking up, some good gusts ~25mph. Here we go! [9 AM: Moderate-Heavy Snow Band] Moderate to brief heavy snow in the red-shaped area will progress eastward into central MA and northeast CT in the next hour. Expect a brief period of 1/2 to 1/4 mile visby and a quick inch of snow resulting in difficult travel.
  13. Nice! The best band is still to your west too.
  14. Inch down, roads getting covered, and the good stuff isn't even here yet.
  15. Thinking about heading up to Lake Wyola area. The road off 202 to the center of town climbs about 500' of vert in a mile and the center of Shutesbury is about 1250', probably a couple inches up there by now.
  16. It's amazing, happy others got to see it so I know I'm not crazy. I have seen 300-400' making a difference but never 100' over less than a quarter mile. Like a switch flipping.
  17. Coming down at a good clip now, surprised at how early things went to snow. Best rates should be in another 1-2 hours.
  18. Funny, the Ukie from Monday was on for the temps here.
