  1. Had to wait until April 3rd and travel about 700 miles to finally walk on snow this winter; visiting the in-laws near Hancock, ME. Some snowpack left in north-facing and shaded areas from the big storm they got in mid-March. Pic of small frozen lake with glacier covered sandy beach attached!
  2. A bit of white rain near downtown silver spring.
  3. For posterity, all time record digital snow for mid-march??
  4. At this point I'm not even mad that coastal NE may get rocked this weekend. I have no ability to feel jealousy. I am a broken man.
  5. Cars in my neighborhood have a light dusting of pollen from maples and others today.
  6. Hot in silver spring. Anyone else remember a February day like this in 1998? Or was it 1997.
  7. March 22nd, 2018 according to my google photos. McKeldin Mall, UMD College Park. If snow could accumulate then in that part of the UHI, I'm game for it happening again.
  8. End of NAM has a panel of snow - for the lols here. temps are warm.
  9. Yes! I don't get it, it bothers me all the time. The "average" pizza here is terrible. Versus the "average" pizza in the philly area being totally fine.
  10. Beautiful early March spring day here in silver spring. 62 ish, crocuses blooming
  11. Yep I plan an annual visit to my brother's in the NY finger lakes for around this time of year so his kids and my kid can play in the snow. This year: mud
  12. You do Tuesdays? We do Wednesdays. Dropping in with the boys in warzone yeet
  13. This is razor's edge for I-95 at the moment, but for once we have a good 24 hour trend. Literally once, has this happened before this winter??
  14. EPS 12z. I can't see snow, but 0.25" -0.5" QPF across the area as this thing passes; temps look iffy to say the least Versus 00z
  15. Nice spring morning today eh
  16. I swear I saw a mosquito last week
  17. I'll bet real money that either of those storms between 200-300 hours out will be modeled as cutters by monday
  18. Noticed these ready to bloom/blooming crocuses on a south-facing slope at a local park (right above a small street). Product of a warm January. This area always gets them first in the neighborhood, but this is the earliest I've seen them there. Usually late February. They might freeze tonight though. #springwatch
