Walt, by JFK it wasn't even 0.1" more like a Trace. The sun was shining through the clouds the entire time and the snow was barely of light intensity at any time and very small flakes.

as it turns out we ended up with diddly squat lol 0 more salt and sand than snow,

this explains everything, we're SW of that green band and it's still very light snow here...I'm south of that "k" in "New York"

This is what we saw (on a much larger scale) on 2/6/2010, which is why I asked if all that snow in the Poconos would make it here because it looks like the dry air is coming from the east and northeast.

It would be funny/ironic if there were two areas of snowfall, one farther north in the LHV and the other one with the IVT, with little or nothing in between. Right now, it looks like the sun wants to come out on the south shore of Long Island lol.
