    My man...I like like your style...4th post here, firing right out the gate about "extreme" storms from several day out. But you have a "Pro" tag...I wanna gently suggest, people here gonna eat your as$ alive going so hard without any backing. Because NO model showed any of that around here at all. Best of luck.

    Saranac NY. About halfway there. High cirrus but can see well! Got a party of about 30 friends. My crappy cell phone pic.

    Made it to Saranac NY. About 18” on the ground but it has compressed. Had a great evening building snow forts and having snowball fights. Still snowing lightly…over 60 straight hours of snow. Wild.

    Heading to my in-laws Friday morning in Saranac NY. The kids are off of school Friday and next Wednesday so we are letting them miss Monday and Tuesday as well. My wife's friend is having an eclipse party...which will be awesome. My kids are 6 and 8, I think this will be one of those life events that they will always remember. The weather looks decent right now...may be dealing with some high clouds but if that's the worst it gets, I'm cool with that. Also, they are forecast to get 14-22" of snow the next couple days. Ironically that will make up for the lack of snowcover from when we were up there around Christmas. Kids are fired up for that!

    Agreed. The 4-6” I thought we’d get in western Loudoun now looks like 1-2” based on radar. Not complaining…it is what it is.

    Family and I are going to my in-laws in Saranac NY, just outside of Plattsburgh. Just bought 10 pairs of eclipse sunglasses.
